Shipotel-Berlin GmbH, Shipotel Eastern & Shipotel Western - Berlin

Moored on the River Spree in the heart of Berlin, 2 boats make up this charming hotel. Shipotel Eastern & Shipotel Western sit amid the vibrant Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg districts, just 10 metres from the remains of the Berlin Wall.

The Shipotel Eastern features cosy cabin rooms with their own bathrooms and there is a spacious deck area with great views of the Oberbaum Bridge.

The Shipotel Western features budget cabins with shared bathrooms. It features a roof terrace (not open in winter), with a great view of the Berlin skyline. Bed linen and towels are provided in the price.

"Children 0-4 years are for free. 5 Years and older need to pay full adult price, so please make sure you give the childrens age in your booking or consider this when making your booking."

Guests can enjoy a drink on the Floating Lounges deck in the summer, or next to the fireplace in winter. Central heating allows guests to stay on boardyear round. The main reception, reception room and lounge are located on the Shipotel Eastern.

The Floating Lounge offers english standup comedy every Tuesday and Thursday.
Friedrichshain offers many bars and clubs, located within walking distance of the Shipotel Eastern.

Warschauer Straße S-Bahn (city rail) station is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

Our Shipotel unfortunately does not have its own parking area for cars.

There are two park houses, one in EastSide Mall on Helen-Ernst Straße, which is open 24 hours and is 500 Meters from us. The prices start at 2.50 € for one hour and 14 € for 24 hours.
The other one is near Ostbahnhof, just 1000 Meters from us: Contipark International, Stralauer Platz 14, 10243 Berlin, and it’s open 24 hours. The prices start at 2.00 € for an hour and 9 € for 24 hours.

The hotel day starts from hour 16:00 and ends at 11:00.

Please note that this property consists of two boats next to each other.

Depending on your booked category you get a room at either the Shipotel Eastern or the Shipotel Western. Cabins with direct river views are subject to availability and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis based on the date of booking.

The reception is open daily from 08:00am until 23:00pm. Please confirm your check-in time in advance.

Guests can access the Shipotel Eastern and Shipotel Western 24 hours a day using a door code. You can store your luggage on board from 8am until check-in from 4pm.

Please note that guests are expected to be quiet from 23:00 to 08:00 daily.

Non-swimmers and pets are not allowed on board due to safety regulations.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

Triple Cabin 2nd Class - Shipotel Eastern. Small cabin with either 2 bunk beds or a Double (width 1.25 metres) and Bunk Beds and porthole windows. With Ensuite and Bed linen and towels are provided in the price. Cabins with direct river views are subject to availability and assigned on a first-booked, first-served basis based on the date of booking. ;
Quadruple Cabin 2nd Class -Shipotel Eastern. Small cabin with 2 bunk beds and porthole windows. With Ensuite and Bed linen and towels are provided in the price. Cabins with direct river views are subject to availability and assigned on a first-booked, first-served basis based on the date of booking. ;
Shipotel Western - Triple Cabin with Shared Bathroom. This cabin is located on the Shipotel Western, directly beside the Shipotel Eastern. The Shipotel Western has 18 cabins on 2 decks. Guests should check-in and check-out on the Reception on Shipotel Eastern. This cabin consists of one single bed and bunkbed (1m wide) large windows and access to shared showers and toilets on the upper floor. Lower Floor has some with Double Bed and bunk beds inside. Bed linen and towels are provided in the price. Cabins with direct river views are subject to availability and assigned on a first-booked, first-served basis based on the date of booking. ;
Shipotel Western - Double Cabin with Shared Bathroom. This cabin is located in the Shipotel Western, directly beside the Shipotel Eastern. The Shipotel Western has 18 cabins on 2 decks. Guests should check-in and check-out on the Shipotel Eastern. This cabin consists of a double bed (1,40 m wide), large windows and access to shared showers and toilets on the upper floor. Bed linen and towels are provided in the price. Cabins with direct river views are subject to availability and assigned on a first-booked, first-served basis based on the date of booking. ;
